Black Seed for Asthma Relief

The essential oils in Black Seed (Nigella Sativa Seed) have a mucus resolving and vasodilating effect, thus providing rapid relief from acute problems. Black Seed Oil relaxes the airways and reduces the release of histamines into the bloodstream. Black Seed, sometimes referred to as Black Cumin, helps heal bronchial asthma by combating the root of the problem: stabilizing the immune system.

Black Seed Oil contains unsaturated fatty acids, namely linoleic acid and gamma linolenic acid, which are essential for a healthy immune system. The internal application of Black Seed Oil prompts a series of chemical reactions in which these unsaturated fatty acids take part. These reactions lead to the formation of arachidon-acid, a substance which in turn facilitates the synthesis of prostaglandin E1. Prostaglandin E1 suppresses the release of allergic messenger substances and harmonizes the immune system. During the course of long term Black Seed Oil therapy, the body’s defense mechanism stops it’s excess activity and regains its balance. This ameliorates ailments caused by allergic hyper reactions, such as Asthma, Hay Fever, and Eczema.

One of the most important components of Black Seed Oil is the active ingredient Nigellon Semohiprepinon. It is an effective treatment for Bronchial Asthma and Respiratory Allergies because of its ability to expand and relax the airways. It also reduces the release of histamines into the bloodstream and thus works against allergic reactions. Another active ingredient of Black Seed Oil, Thymohydrochinon, also acts as an antihistamine and pain reliever.

The standard diet does not supply the allergic person with the necessary amount of essential fatty acids, but long-term supplementation with Black Seed Oil with Black Seed Oil can reduce allergic symptoms by up to 90 percent. Recent scientific research confirms that a daily intake of 500 milligrams three times a day for three to six months provides effective, low-cost therapy for those with allergies and asthma. Best of all, at this dosage Black Seed Oil has no side effects.

The recommended dose of Black Seed Oil for Asthma is 2 capsules or 25 drops 3 times a day. Continue this dose for 4 to 6 months, and then take a break for 2 months before starting the treatment again. Black Seed Inhalations or Black Seed Tea, taken several times a day, will also be helpful in opening up the airways.
